Opened in June 2015, the new Khomas Hochland Hiking Trail
covers a total distance of 91 km over 6 days.
It winds through the most alluring and rugged part of the Khomas Hochland, crossing 5 farms, namely Duesternbrook, Godeis, Monte Christo, Onduno and Otjiseva.
There is also an option to do a 4-day (53 km) hike.
We are certain that these trails will attract hikers interested in birdwatching and wildlife (especially reptiles), trees and other plants, geology and archaeology, and those who just love to hike through mostly unspoiled nature, walking in dry river beds and over the rolling hills of the Khomas Hochland.
We offer a range of accommodation options, facilities, activities and attractions.
And, due to its close proximity to Windhoek (about a 1,5-hour drive), it is easily accessible.
